FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much does it cost to tune my piano?
The standard fee for tuning your piano is 550 Dhs. for Upright, and 650 Dhs for a Grand piano. If your piano has not been tuned for a long time, it might require a raise in pitch (a.k.a. Double Tuning), and the fee is slightly higher to account for the time and precision required to restore the stability of your instrument.
In some cases, depending on piano condition, additional follow up visit maybe required in order to achieve a long-lasting tuning stability. There will be additional fee added.
It usually takes about 90-120 minutes to tune a piano. If the piano's pitch is lower than standard pitch A-440 it takes an extra 30 min to do a pitch raise.

Replacing any string will cost you 300 Dhs per string. That includes two follow up visit for retuning the new string.
If wound string is broken, I recommend replacing both strings for bi-cords.
All strings are custom made according to measurements taken from your original string.
Is there anything that can be done for loose tuning pins on my piano?
Yes, repair is possible. Loose pins are pounded with sledge hummer further inside the piano block (if possible), or extracted and installed back by a special technique. It can also be replaced with larger pin size.
